Swiss indie/dark-pop/trip-hop trio dIVA shared first single “Lune”
After about four years of hard working, Swiss indie-pop/dark-folk/trip-hop trio dIVA is proud to announce the upcoming release of its debut full-length album called ‘SOL’ and planned for LP & Digital on November 24th through Division Records.
To offer a first glance on their amazing work, the three musicians unveiled a few days ago an official music video illustrating the single “Lune” available right now on YouTube.
About ‘Sol’ : The 5 songs on this album, which happens to be only the first part of a diptych whose sequel will come out at the end of 2018, refer exclusively to the rocky planets of the solar system. The music is a faithful reflection of the telluric aspect of these astral bodies, through a music borrowing so much from smooth dream-pop and throbbing trip-hop.
Some incursions into the dark-folk and drone burned territories make the final mixture a formidable composite of efficiency, irremediably causing total fascination and immediate adhesion. The themes dealt with in the lyrics, directly related to the planets from which they are inspired, are depicted as dark & rich metaphors, inviting an introspective journey from which no one will emerge unscathed.
One thus gives oneself with pleasure to these original and tortuous compositions, in which the talent and inspiration of their authors shine like a star in the remotest abyss of the galaxy.

The project dIVA is born in 2013 when the guitarist Pierre-Emmanuel and the singer Lisa-Marie first meet. The two musicians soon discover a common desire to express themselves artistically in a formation that can grant total freedom and a true evolutionary vision.
The conceptual framework of their first album is immediately apparent. The solar system theme will be exploited to give birth to compositions continuously oscillating between dream-pop, trip-hop and darkfolk. When Marc, producer and sound designer of genius, joined them at the end of 2015, the band is ready to record his first album.
But with the addition of a third member, the ideas expand so much that the concept album originally envisaged is divided into two distinct parts, which will be released separately at a distance of one year.

French stoner/grunge rockers Sunderfeet stream new album ‘Nightmare For Myself’
After spending the past weeks sharing a few audio excerpt from the effort with the songs “Dying Day” and “13”, Stoner-grunge power-trio from the East of France Sunderfeet just released its debut full-length album called ‘Nigthmare For Myself’ and available right now for physical & digital formats on Bandcamp.

The instrumental trio formerly known as NOX was created in 2007 under the impulse of violin player Catherine Graindorge.
Active in numerous collaborations with artists such as John Parish, Bertrand Cantat (Noir Désir), Pascal Humbert (16 Horsepower) and Hugo Race (ex Bad Seeds), she joined forces with bass player David Christophe (Audiograve, David Lund, Upland…) and drummer Elie Rabinovitch and together they released two albums (‘Nox’ in 2009 & ‘Freaks’ in 2011) on the Belgian independant label Depot214.
The band also composed original music for choregraphy (for Marion Ballester at ‘Charleroi Danses’) and cinema (“Le Prix du Pain” by Yves Dorme, “L’œil silencieux” by Karim Ouelhaj,…). The American director Hal Hartley used two tracks from the album « Freaks » for his feature film “My America”.
Nile On waX´s third release, “Bell Dogs”, is released on october 2017.
