French deep-rock outfit Syd Kult stream debut full-length album
Today is the day : a few weeks after unveilling some various excerpts from the effort with the songs “Heroes’ End”, “Space” and “Silent Scream”, French deep-rock trio Syd Kult just officially released its debut self-titled album for CD and Digital with the courtesy of La Grosse Radio as official premium-media partner.

In addition to the official release-news, the band also unleashed the full album for streaming on Bandcamp while it will be available too on the main legal platforms such as iTunes, Amazon, Deezer or Spotify on February 5th.

Somewhere beyond influences from various major bands and artists such as Alice In Chains, The Doors, Marilyn Manson, King Crimson, Blue Öyster Cult, Portishead or Radiohead, Syd Kult quickly found its own musical path with its debut recording : a self-titled EP (2013) released a few months only after its birth.

After some line-up changings, a second EP called ‘Reflections Of The Black Sun’ saw the light in 2014 and then; the musicians began the work on its first full-length effort and unleashed a digital single “Beyond Good and Evil” later in 2015.

From Scandinavian melodic death metal to american thrash, power and prog metal, MEKAORA was launched around 2010 with members from various local bands and quickly played some gigs before to begin the work on its first songs, in order to record a demo called ‘Quelques milliards d’atomes’ (released on 2013).

A bunch of stages shared with bands such as Black Bomb A, Crucified Barbara, Headcharger or Tripalium later, MEKAORA hit the studio in 2015 and after a year spent to work on its debut full-length album, the quintet released ‘ELYSIUM’ on october 2016.

Formed in 2015 by the singer Julien Vonlanthen, recognized DJ artist (Zeela), music producer and drummer, Fensta is a rap-rock power trio from the area of Fribourg, Switzerland, equally inspired by alternative music and pop music.

Though the formation is recent, the members come from various respected scenes. Featuring Fred Vonlanthen (guitarist for Alain Morisod, involved in more than 2’000 shows during the last 20 years) on the bass and Nathan Gros (No Way To Escape, Hubris…) on the drums, the group’s origin stemmed from a mutual will of getting out ofthe musicians’ habits.

Influenced by bands such as RATM, Royal Blood and AC/DC, Fensta stands out by mixing powerful hip-hop drum rhythms, loud bass-guitar riffs and rap lines. Not only motivated by sharing the happiness of their music, the band approaches delicate topics with their strong lyrics and tries to promote a different way of thinking to its audience.

Formed in 2014 in the East of France, Yurodivy quickly played its first gigs before to record a debut EP called ‘The Valley Of Elah’ released a few months only after its official birth. Then the band created its own imprint (Itawak) based in Kawati Studios in Strasbourg city and begin the work on a new EP + first full-length album.

In June 2015, Yurodivy released a second EP called ‘When Deep Waters…’ (through Itawak) and about one year and a half after, its long-play sequel : ‘APHOS’.
