A few days after the official release of the ‘Moonshiner EP’ following a first and self-titled EP in 2016, French acid/fuzz-rock/psych/stoner duet Electric Jaguar Baby just unveiled an official tour video filmed during its last European tour between France, Belgium or Germany and available right now YouTube illustrating by the song “Holly Vally” as soundtrack.
For the reminder ! a few months ago the band took time in between to grab a few microphones and record 3 new tracks in a cellar in Paris to capture the live energy with a 70’s sound, giving birth to the EP released on March 24th 2017 (on handmade limited CDs and cassette tapes and on its own label : El Diablo Records).
ELECTRIC JAGUAR BABY was born in Paris in 2015, from the ashes of the bands No Cure and 7 Days Before. A drummer and a guitarist, both of them singers, stride across Josh Homme’s desert, flirt with the Black Keys’ choruses and explore Jack White’s saturated riffs. The duet generates a catchy sound with psychedelic atmospheres, hovering between rock’n’roll and fuzz.

Somewhere between garage vibes; punk, stoner and “minimalist-rock”, the band also shared last year a first audio/video recording a few months ago with the song “Virus” still available on YouTube and for FREE DOWNLOAD on Bandcamp.
About two years after the single “Echoes” and so much time spent on stage but also to work on their debut full-length album, Swiss metallers Peace Is Just A Break aka PIJAB (modern/melodic death-metal) unveiled a few days ago a brand new official music video for a self-titled song available on YouTube and extracted from their next record coming out later this year.

Peace Is Just A Break is a melodic death metal band created in May 2011 by 5 friends from the area of Lausanne, Switzerland.

The band has the opportunity to play at BiubStock Festival besides Breakdown of Sanity in 2013 and at the Metal Assault Festival 2013 with band such as Psycroptic, Hour of Penance or Dyscarnate. In 2015, after a big line-up change, the band gets out of its off peak period by unveiling a new song, “Echoes”. PIJAB is back on stage with new compositions in a more modern melodic death metal, adding some samples to the sound.

The band then plays 3 gigs in Switzerland during September and November, including one opening act for the French metalcore band Eths, then a Belgium/Netherlands tour is organised for the end of November. Currently, the band is finishing the work on its first studio album which will be released in 2017.
A few weeks after announcing their participation to the Hellfest Open Air Festival 2017, Fast & Dirty Rockers Iron Bastards just reissued their second and filthy full-length album ‘Fast & Dangerous’ for Limited LP Edition through Hell Prod (Los Disidentes del Sucio Motel).

Founded on the ashes of Azazelblues Earthworms (Urgence Disks / Irascible) around Lausanne city in September 2014, Ritual Boogie is a Swiss power trio inspired by psychedelia-tinged rock, post-punk and blues forms under the leadership of Stephen Garey. Somewhere between acid-rock, alternative and psychedelic rock called “Underground Ritual Rock”, the band recorded five songs in March 2015 and engaged to the public in April of the same year.
The first live performance of the trio was at the Festival des Pieds Plats in La Chaux (CH) in June 2015 (with Herod and Cheyenne) but Ritual Boogie has also played at the Bleu Lézard (Lausanne) in September 2015 (with Deanima) and in Grandvaux in November 2015. Formed by members and contributors of various bands (Lilium Sova, Delicatefunk, Marie Dahlstrom, Distrip, NAJAVIBES, Fractal Point, Garadh, Rorcal…) with long-time experience, Penfield created a cinematic music which can be describe as soundtrack of invisible movies. Hubris. is a Swiss post-rock band originating in Fribourg. Formed in 2014, the instrumental quartet is characterised by their original style which blends an experimental touch of post-rock, electronica atmosphere and some elements of the metal scene.

They draw their inspiration from bands like Jakob, This Will Destroy You, Tides of Man or Jon Hopkins amongst others. With their introspection-evoking style, hubris. reveal themselves with the length of their compositions, permitting an evolution encompassing softness as well as intensity. Sometimes compared with other artists like Sigur Rós or Long Distance Calling (Daily-Rock), the band calls forth emotions of its audience due to a heterogeneous musical landscape mixing poetic ambiance and raw energy. The band is comprised of a guitar and synthesisers (Jonathan Hohl and Martin Volanthen), a bass-guitar (Julien Vonlanthen) and the drums (Nathan Gros).

On the 2nd of May 2015, hubris. released their first opus “Emersion” along-side Jakob (New Zealand). Furthermore, the album was chosen as the soundtrack of the international museum exposition of Bucarest “Insight”.

In 2016, hubris. entered the walls of the studio “La Fonderie” (Fribourg) in order to compose their second album. Their musical approach took a new turn with the arrival of member Martin Vonlanthen (synthesisers). By drastically changing their method of composing, the band embodies a musical style rarely explored to this day, breaching pre-established post-rock conventions by incorporating electronica influences.
