Rise unveiled exclusive premiere for new single “About ‘friends'”

06/29/2015 at 2:30 am (Uncategorized)

Rise band

This is about Rise… This is about musical hybridation. This is about a French three-piece entity mixing in the same original and “romantic” way post-metal, indie-pop & alternative black-metal. A musical project including a real visual ambition with graphic design, art-works and music videos in order to spread a personal vision of romantism.

A few weeks after unveiling an animated music video for the single “About duality”, Rise just unleashed an exclusive world premiere session through PureGrainAudio and Score A/V for a brand new song called “About ‘friends'”. This new track will feature on the debut full-length album by Rise, called “Resilience”, produced by Jochem Jacobs (ex-Textures) and expected on CD & digital in the coming weeks.

… For the record…

Natural evolution of the Andick solo project in 2009, RISE took its firststep during the spring of 2010. Affected by the artistic approach of Aymeric Goutal, it was in a spontaneous way that bassist Julien Bouladoux (also involved with alternative/hardcore/punk band The Prestige), then drummer Tadzio Gottberg decided to ally to his cause.

Borrowing its influences from the broadest musical horizon possible, RISE seeks above all to convey emotions. The power of Rock, the heaviness of Metal and the Classical drama are combined,  thus giving birth to a rich and astonishing mixture. The topics approached, halfway between hope and melancholy, are primarily based on the concept of Resilience, dear to the project’s originator. Experiments share, transmission of emotions and vibrations in unison constitute a faithful triptych to RISE.

Mandroid of Krypton announced new album “HyperkaossMarket” and unveiled first track

06/08/2015 at 3:53 pm (Uncategorized)

MOK band.
3 years after its debut album, Swiss punk-metal outfit Mandroid of Krypton is about to release a brand new full-length record, called “HyperkaossMarket”, recorded and mixed by Gabriel Farine from the band itself and mastered by Stéphane Kroug (Mumakil, Rorcal, Six Months of Sun…) in Geneva. The official release is expected on September 2015 for physical and digital editions.
.
In the meantime, the trio just unveiled a first song extracted from this upcoming album with “Alien Sisters” available right now on SoundCloud.
 .
…For the record…
 .
Mandroid of Krypton is a punk metal power trio whose ship crashed in Geneva (Switzerland) in 2010 and has never been able to leave since. Their music, self-proclaimed lyrical stellar thrash, was recorded on earth and engraved on a first LP, “Our Brilliant Embassies” in 2012, followed a year later by a 7 Inch, “Angry SpaceZombies”. Mandroid of Krypton draws its inspiration from its rage of never seeing Krypton again, a planet where nature has reclaimed its rights, condemning the inhabitants to flee the lethal atmosphere.
 .
Its metallic-cosmic chants now vibrate in the heart of earthlings with whom they are proud to share their second album : “HyperkaossMarket” (2015), 9 tracks as threatening as an asteroid field and as soniferous as the incantations of the Krypton high priestess. You will rush into “HyperkaossMarket” as you plunge into a black hole … without hoping to return!

Zöé unveiled brand new music video for “Dusty truck”

06/05/2015 at 2:16 pm (Uncategorized)

Zoe picture lounge.
A few months after releasing its new album, “Raise the veil”, for CD/LP and digital through Brennus Music, Zöé (70’s hardrock vs modern stoner) just unveiled a brand new official music video for the song “Dusty truck”.
 .
Third full length effort by Zöé after “Make it burning” and “Dirty is a little sister”, “Raised the veil” has been recorded by Olivier T’Servrancx at the Electric Box Studio (Glowsun) and then mastered by Göran Finnberg (In Flames, Meshuggah). In other news, after played on stage during the past years with bands like Lofofora, Nashville Pussy, The Lords of Altamont and some venues at BetizFest, Hellfest or Main Square Festival, the band is still spreading its rock’n’roll vibes on the road.

 .
ZOE was born in the late 90’s, in the North of France. Very soon, the rock musicians grind their set almost everywhere in the area, in front of public, a more and more enthusiastic one. They decide to attempt the first album; “Make It Burning” was born. A pure concentrated of stoner rock n roll with hard rock seventies influences, an improbable meeting between Motorhead and Queens Of The Stone Age. It is a success greeted by the specialist publications.
 .
To defend this first album, Zoe ‘s guys left on the road, for a marathon tour crossing among others France, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Spain, sharing the stage with bands such as Alice Cooper, The Bellrays, Lords Of Altamont, Loading Data, 7 Weeks, Tokyo Sex Destruction, The Datsuns…Three years later, ZOE raises the bar with its second album, “Dirty Little Sister” with Olivier T’Servrancx of Electrik Box as producer and Cap’tain Nico, a dabbler illustrator and graphic designer who has hoisted paintings for exuberant iconographic adventures for more than 20 years, in order to create the very graphic design of the album. “Dirty Little Sister” (Brennus Music) pushes the nail, always energetic, sincere. Then the band took the opportunity to cross guitars with Nashville Pussy, Sepultura, Bukowski, Lofofora and get the road of the festivals (Main Square fest, BetiZ fest, Hellfest…).

06/02/2015 at 8:40 am (Uncategorized)

Novembre band

Somewhere between dark slam/hip-hop music, post-hardcore textures, spoken words explorations and black metal, NOVEMBRE is a French organic duo born in 2012 and made up of Olivier Lacroix (aka L’Amiral D.) & Jérémie Noël (aka Le Pendu) also involved in the post-metal/sludge outfit Erlen Meyer. Influenced by bands such as Cult of Luna, Portishead, La Rumeur and Casey, NOVEMBRE operates in a hybrid style mixing dark atmospheres, hip-hop vibes and post-anything soundscapes, all wrapped in a black atmosphere like in thrillers movies/novels.

Their debut-full length record, mixed by Florent Falconnier and mastered by MOBO from Conkrete Studio (Fleshdoll, Gorod, Eryn Non Dae, Lokurah) is expected in CD and Digital in the coming next weeks but in the meantime, three songs extracted from this upcoming album are available for streaming on Bandcamp and a music video is currently in the pipe.
