For the record

Founded on the ashes of Azazelblues Earthworms (Urgence Disks / Irascible) around Lausanne city in September 2014, Ritual Boogie is a Swiss power trio inspired by psychedelia-tinged rock, post-punk and blues forms under the leadership of Stephen Garey. Somewhere between acid-rock, alternative and psychedelic rock called “Underground Ritual Rock”, the band recorded five songs in March 2015 and engaged to the public in April of the same year.

The first live performance of the trio was at the Festival des Pieds Plats in La Chaux (CH) in June 2015 (with Herod and Cheyenne) but Ritual Boogie has also played at the Bleu Lézard (Lausanne) in September 2015 (with Deanima) and in Grandvaux in November 2015. A few gigs later with bands such as Viruuunga or @ Metropop festival (in November 2016) with The Kills, Ritual Boogie will release its debut album on Spring 2017.
